Compost bins at the Western end of Woodland St are available to the local community to compost.

What's it all about?

Throw your veggie scraps into the top of any of the compost bins at the end of Woodland Street instead of sending them to landfill. You are welcome to leave lawn clippings, dry leaves or any small garden clippings next to the compost bins and these will be added to the compost. If you want to learn about composting or worm farms, drop a note into the mailbox of number 1 and Sue will contact you. She runs compost workshops locally by arrangement. If you would like compost for your garden when it is ready, just leave a note in the mailbox of number 1 with your contact details and Sue will let you know when some compost is available for use.
